East Coast Picnic creates and executes luxury picnics, picnic tours, sip & paint/plein air picnics and progresive picnics throughout the east coast.  We design picnics for 2-300 people, whether it's on a rooftop, in a meadow, back yard or even inside someone's home. Our picnic tours and progressive picnics are immersive experiences that include amazing menus using locally sourced foods and prepared by talented chefs, growers, farmers and more.  


We suggest everyone reaches out to us as soon as possible, even if the event date is several months away. We request hosts to book a minimum of 3-4 weeks in advance, if possible, especially during peak season - April-October.  If you're unable to book in advance, let us know, and we'll see what we can do to accommodate your date(s).  


The options are endless.  You can have a picnic in public parks, state parks, beaches, vineyards, lakes, in your own back yard or choose to host one of our "indoor" picnics inside your home!  If you don't have a location in mind, you can choose from our curated selection of locations that we have partnered with throughout the east coast.  If you choose your own location, please remember that there might be permits required. If this is the case, please let us know so we can assist you through that process.  



 We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your picnic date and time. The remaining 50% of payment is due 72 hours or (3) days prior to your scheduled picnic time.  If your picnic is booked 7 days prior the event then the full payment is required.  



Your reservation deposit is non-refundable, however it may be used as a credit towards your new reservation. Your new reservation must be rescheduled within three months from your original date, but does not have to be held within the 3 month time frame.  *** Once your picnic is set up, we will not be able to cancel or reschedule your booking and your payment will not be refunded. 


East Coast Picnic will notify you of any necessary cancellations due to inclement weather.  You have the option to move your picnic indoors or to reschedule your picnic for a different day and time within 3 months of the original event date.


All of our picnics are reserved for 3 hours. If you'd like to request additional time for your picnic, please contact us.  


One of our specialties is designing each luxury picnic to be a reflection of the host's vision, and our team will work closely with you to realize your vision for your picnic.  In the meanwhile, take a look at our "theme" page for some inspiration!


East Coast Picnic handles the set up, clean up and breakdown of all of our guest's picnics so you can enjoy your time together.


The host of each picnic is welcome to bring his/her own food, choose a menu from our curated selection of caterers or choose from East Coast Picnics' "Luxury Picnic Provisions" menu.  



East Coast Picnic does not hold an alcohol license and therefore does not offer alcohol.  If you choose to bring alcohol to your gathering, you are responsible to research the rules and regulations on whether alcohol is allowed at your gathering location, and to obtain any permits, if requred.


 No, we leave after you're settled and return once your picnic reservation ends. If you need us during your picnic, you can call us or text us a message.
